Gula melaka price per kilo: retail and wholesale
Gula Melaka Blocks are priced by the kilo: RM18/kg for 1–99 kg and RM15/kg for 100 kg and above. Here is how it works.

One of the first things people ask is the price of gula melaka per kilo, whether they are cooking at home or running a kuih business. At Warisan Gula Melaka, Gula Melaka Blocks are priced by the kilo, with just two tiers: retail and wholesale. Here is how those tiers work, what affects the delivery charge, and the quickest way to get a quote.
Two price tiers for gula melaka blocks
We keep pricing simple on purpose. There are no confusing bundles. All you need to know is roughly how many kilos you need.
Retail: RM18/kg for 1 to 99 kg
Orders from 1 kg up to 99 kg of Gula Melaka Blocks are priced at RM18/kg. This tier suits families who make traditional desserts, small kuih sellers turning out a few trays a day, and cafés just starting to add gula melaka drinks to the menu.
Wholesale: RM15/kg for 100 kg and above
Once an order reaches 100 kg or more, Gula Melaka Blocks drop to RM15/kg. Bakeries, caterers, small kuih producers and resellers tend to order at this tier. The per-kilo rate is based on the total weight of a single order.
What about granules and syrup?
Gula Melaka Granules and Gula Melaka Syrup are also available. Their price and pack size are confirmed with you on WhatsApp, as are the pack sizes for blocks, so you can pick what fits your kitchen.

What decides the delivery charge
The price of the sugar and the delivery charge are two separate things. We deliver across Malaysia, and the delivery charge is confirmed on WhatsApp once we know your address.
Where it is going
An address in the Peninsula and one in Sabah or Sarawak take different routes, so there is no single flat charge for everyone. Whether you are in Petaling Jaya, Ipoh or Kota Kinabalu, the charge is worked out from your actual address.
How heavy the order is
A large order usually ships differently from a few kilos for the home kitchen. Give us a rough weight and we can work out the charge properly.
How every order is packed
Every order is vacuum packed to keep it fresh on the way to you, and our products are certified Halal by JAKIM.

How to get a quote
Quotes come back fastest when we have everything up front. Here is what helps.
What to include in your message
- The product: blocks, granules or syrup.
- Roughly how many kilos.
- Your full delivery address with postcode.
- Whether it is a one-off order or something you will repeat monthly.
What happens next
We reply with the tier price, the pack sizes and the delivery charge to your address. If you want to compare options first, have a look at the prices section. Not sure which form to buy for baking? Our guide to gula melaka in the bakery walks through it.
A tip for sellers
If your sales are growing, work out how much you use in a month. Combining several small orders into one of 100 kg or more can move you into the RM15/kg wholesale tier instead of paying RM18/kg each time.
Common questions about pricing
Can I mix blocks, granules and syrup in one order?
Yes. Tell us how much of each product you want. Blocks follow the RM18/kg or RM15/kg tier, while granule and syrup prices are confirmed in the same conversation, so you see the whole picture before you pay.
Does the price change from state to state?
The price of the sugar per kilo is the same nationwide. Only the delivery charge changes, because it depends on your address and the weight of the order.
I sell kuih from a small stall. Which tier fits me?
Most kuih sellers start on the retail tier. A stall making kuih lopes, keria and apam every morning will often order a few kilos first to get a feel for the flavour and texture. Once usage settles, many move to larger single orders.
Why is there no “from” price?
We would rather give you the real price for your order. With two clear tiers and a delivery charge based on your address, you know exactly what you are paying without guesswork.
